Partitioning...

okay, here's i'd do.

system files, user folder, barebones basics, etc., on 1 partition.

applications folder, data folders, etc., on partition.

big reason want have 2 system partitions, 1 sl , 1 lion. have yet upgrade lion because i've got system-critical apps run under rosetta. i've been wanting try out, though, time.

thoughts?

 

so want total of 3 partitions? 1 lion, 1 snow leopard, , 1 shared stuff applications , user data?

shared partition isn't going work both operating systems. lion , snow leopard have different stock apps , hidden system files , user data. if work @ all, it'll unpredictable , unstable.
