please excuse possibly pretty basic question.
have imessage switched on on phone. don't use people text don't have iphones or haven't updated or whatever, don't know how imessage meant work tbh.
other day got imessage don't know. email address showed up. seemed wrong number , half text thought, they've realised error. got text. , today another, saying why don't reply. replied have wrong number. @ point sent me load of nonsense. said please stop texting me, , said no. turned off imessage.
i'm not sure how have happened. don't recognise email address. i'm in london, , it's isp. can imessage email address? i.e. if they'd typed in wrong email address have gone me? thought required actual phone number. if so, standard wrong number, they've somehow entered [uk] phone number in address book, , apple's realised have imessage sent via imessage?
, there way can block them if need be?
