i used use hotspot shield when had tiger few years ago , worked perfectly... tried downloading , won't stay open, second open see icon open split second , closes without warning or anything. i'm running snow leopard , i've seen other people complain issue, , i've seen people lion using it... please me ! thanks.
you don't need 3rd party antivirus app keep mac malware-free. macs not immune malware, no true viruses exist in wild can run on mac os x, , there never have been since released on 10 years ago. cannot infect mac visiting website, unzipping file, opening email attachment or joining network. malware in wild can affect mac os x handful of trojans, cannot infect mac unless actively install them, , can avoided basic education, common sense , care in software install. also, mac os x snow leopard , lion have anti-malware protection built in, further reducing need 3rd party antivirus apps.
