i import aperture library, apparently few times must have imported referenced files, no longer have. since happened, i've wiped hard drive, sold mac, , bought new one. no chance of recovering original masters. photos "there" in aperture, can't them, error aperture can't locate referenced file , master offline. there way use preview version stored in aperture recreate new master, if it's lower resolution? went genius bar today, best come screen shots of images create new jpeg, reimport. gotta better way that, no? can help... in advance.
