ACDSee - stuck Empty Temporary Cache files

hi all.

use acdsee @ work (mac) of course. , when go exit.
tries empty temporary cache files keeps going long while.

had force quit.
tried again same thing.
appzapped , installed newer version. 1.9.3 , still same thing.

every thing runs fine until try exit.
can find files , delete them manually ??

thanks
ian

fixed - think corrupt database

ok here's did.. worked me may not you.. try else first.

searched around , figured problem database.
it's hidden somehow in user//library/application support/acd systems
can see files in terminal window..

open terminal window navigate there: cd "user/library/application support/acd systems"
, deleted 2 files.

com.acdsystems.acdseepro (version 4.1).mediadatabase
com.acdsystems.acdseeprobeta (version 4).mediadatabase

ls makesure in right folder

using> rm -d "com.acdsystems.acdseepro (version 4.1).mediadatabase"
, same one> rm -d "com.acdsystems.acdseeprobeta (version 4).mediadatabase"

, seemed work.. no more infinitely waiting "empty temporary cache files" exits clean..

said above "use last ditch bugging me heck can't stand more !!!" solution...

hope helps not go insane. luck
