Restoring to 5.0.1 once 5.1 is released

hi all,

i've read somewhere a5 devices such iphone 4s , ipad 2 not able restore 5.0.1 once apple stops signing off, despite having saved our shsh blobs. correct ? if so, it's going difficult keep our jailbreaks. have restore once in while.
