Battery Life

i got macbook other day, battery life seems short. lasts 3hours , programs running safari, aim , word.

side note: there anyway turn off keyboard backlight completely.

 

battery life dependent on usage. things flash , watching internet videos decrease battery life drastically. there nothing wrong mac.
