father runs country music festival. copyright handled quite - % of ticket sales (i think said 1.5%) paid apra (australasian performing right association), list of songs performed. funds distributed appropriate copyright owners.

let's face - youtube , plenty of other online video facilities overrun copyright material, being used inappropriatetly.

so, shouldn't possible work out similar apra?

i don't point. mean "work out similar"? youtube should make deals copyright owners give them money having content being played on site? already. big time.
