Mac Mini as HTPC

i'm considering mini home theater. i've not had pc in mix point, , looking @ 2.3 ghz/intel hd 3000 graphics model.

question whether graphics subsystem sufficient display 1080p signals, cable provider blu-ray , various file formats (.mkv etc).

if you're using model htpc, please chime in , share observations.

 

the on-board graphics plays 1080p fine, go dedicated gpu if have option. mini great home theatre setup.
