so.........
have japanese iphone 4 purchased while living in japan. when moved didn't want buy phone looked gevey sim deal. gevey didn't work china3gpp (or whatever) did unknown reason.
being said, i'm still stuck in ios4.x due baseband nonsense. went through steps, (booting w/ manual ipsw) it's not working , i'm not sure if it's because china3gpp.
jailbroke phone again see if me upgrade ios5. now, every time turn phone off/on have 'boot tethered' through redsn0w if want of apps work - , when that, i'm unable boot signal (dial 112 nonsense) china chip. every time first, can't other.
@ point i'd mms, facetime, , have siri, being jailbroken matters little.
ideas? thoughts? i'm new - thank ahead of time.
ok baseband have now? , firmware? did save shsh blobs. can't have siri on i4 without being jb.. , gevey not working might bad or knock off gevey. lastly did keep carriers micro sim? oh not familiar china3gpp. wuld have sold before kleft japan , rebought in us.
