iBooks Author: using youtube videos

so want include clips show script i'm editing in ibooks authors. wanted use rip of show have in itunes "its not right format", tried using soundtrack have in itunes (also ripped) didn't work. next tried downloading youtube videos via activity window in safari didn't work. i'm asking if can have link play youtube video in book. solution viable.

 

can play video fine in itunes? if not, try converting handbrake.
