A LOT of power and still lags?

hi guys.

switched 8gb 16gb.
more multitasking power.
although still seem lot of lags on mbp.
specs in signature.

after boot, mac lags bit. applications safari.
rebooted, , wait startup application boot. still lags every time.
start applications nortonsecurity, jumpcut, alfred, gfxcardstatus, istat menu cpu, temp, , memory. dashboard not engaged.

after wait startup applications load, have lags on applications. such lags on switching pages, application freezes (beachball), cant open file , have wait 20 sec.

these normal? mean such powerful machine, lags , gets ridiculous.

checked activity monitor , have atleast 12gb free , cpu throttling 1~3%.

one?

 

had similar problem. reinstalled lion , fixed it.
