i'm trying decide on mac desktop should get. right have 2011 13" mba hooked wireless kb, mouse, , led monitor, don't want keep using air main, i'd save school usage.
i've done lot of searching forums haven't been able find helps me in decision.
won't doing gaming, though if free time i'm considering trying star wars old republic. have running (which i'm doing 90% of time) ichat, itunes, microsoft word, microsoft powerpoint, , chrome. , i'll take break studies watch videos (both sd , hd).
have apple wireless keyboard, mouse, , hp2311x (23" led) monitor can use mini. i'd dual screen monitors b/c have 2, , use 1 , sell other if imac.
i'm kind of leaning towards mini right (which why i'm posting here), wondering if i'd better off imac. hoping there's members on here who've been in same situation me , give me insight!
options i'm considering are:
-i5 2.3ghz mac mini (mid 2011) -> upgrading memory 8gb myself.
-i5 2.7ghz 27" imac -> adding 8gb of ram anyways 12gb
$$$ difference between 2 options isn't of concern me know base 27" better in every spec mac mini awesome display, concerns me whether or not can justify spending more needs (or if it's purely overkill). guys!

if you're using macbook air now, mini faster that. base mini has intel 3000 graphics, won't able play old republic. have 799 (760 on amazon.com no tax) mini 6630m , run old republic on medium settings. mini i5 dual core mba dual core imac quadcore. sounds mini more suit needs doing.
