How long are streamed (purchased) movies cached on the ATV?

the other day opted stream itunes copy of limitless (hd) on atv 3 the purchased tab. buffering took forever due slow internet connection, gave , forgot it. next day checked out , ready watching-- , day after still buffered. know how long movies stored on atv?

also, there way cancel streaming/buffering process if it's taking long?

settings -> network -> itunes store -> stop loading rentals

around lines cancel rental download.

also, believe buffer cached until there insufficient cache storage available next stream, although i've no source this.
