hiya,
purchased ipod touch 4 th gen , smashed screen within month. fortunately have amount of experience replacing phone , ipod touch screens decided one. upon completing screen installation tried turning on, , got nothing. figured must have done wrong new screen, did not. old screen made no difference, computer not register (yes tried new cable, different usb port, reinstalling itunes, , restarting computer. no avail.) have literally tried everything, (hard resetting, dfu mode) not give me apple logo.
2 things should said. primarily, reinstalled screen flawlessly, have anti static gear , ive done countless times. have never experienced severe of problem. secondly, noted water detector strip pink, , seeing purchased off ebay understandable. ipod worked months on end (i used shattered screen several months) . challenge guys, have crazy ideas problem may , or how fix it? cuz can't afford lose ipod lol
