Folder alarms and size thresholds: is there an app for that?

howdy,

quick question hoping answer on:

problem: want 'watch' folder , 'notified' when reaches size.

what's best way that? there application has feature, or applescript better suited ?

welcome suggestions , ideas.

i don't know of app that, i'm curious why needed, since can see folder size in finder whenever put in it. why need limit size of folder, anyway?
