looking little advice really..
have 2011 imac base model have upgraded memory for, fantastic machine wouldn't fault serves me well. until had 2010 macbook pro 13".
decided sell macbook pro know new generation not far away , plan continue 2 machines.
have become convinced thunderbolt display new generation macbook pro answer, opposed having 2 macs. use macbook pro when out of house , dock display once return use desktop. plan purchase highest spec macbook pro (new generation 2012) capable , comparable imac , sell current imac.
thunderbolt displays stunning, not found little awkward having 2 systems , neglecting 1 of them result.
know opinions on this? concern lies performance of machine, new thunderbolt display noticeably effect performance ? graphics? know don't know specs yet... ill wait beforehand obviously... how current top of range 15" pro's manage? see refresh of thunderbolt display year? usb 3, retina... ?
what use for?
seeing current top of line mbpros quad core, , current base imacs pretty similar in specs, shouldn't problem.
