MM 2011 2.5ghz - 8gb ram upgrade worthwhile?

hi all,

i've purchased new 2011 mac mini. comes 4gb of ram. not being mac user (ios devices not withstanding!), i'm struggling work out whether worthwhile.

kind of things i'll using for:

managing photo library via iphoto (aperture when have £££) - library 70gb
photoshop editing - infrequently
infrequent lightweight video editing (iphone output @ moment - possible slr upgrade later)
odd game (e.g. civ5 - have ps3 heavy duty stuff)
light audio duties - cutting / slicing etc

planned add 120gb (probably crucial) ssd

cost £34 upgrade - relatively low cost. worthwhile? i'm hoping of experience able comment

 

that should've been 34gbp! delivered , after tax
