Hibernation

hey guys, new forums , macs in general. love mac, notice 1 nice feature missing windows/pcs have. how put mac hybernation mode? not referring sleep when can close lid , light pulsates. referring in windows when can save current session disk , power off laptop (like if needed take long flight or something, or knew using laptop in few days resume work, , didn't want leave laptop alseep long)---then when turn on, windows (or in case, os x) resume , pick left off.

help?

the air can think because of ssd, not sure

sleep pretty good, lose 1% per hour
