Posting after 14 hour flight...

wifi off (obviously), screen brightness set @ 70%, charged ipad 3:

-watched 8hrs 26m of 720p mkvs movies
-read ibooks 2hrs 40m
-played new sky gamblers game under hour

on 12 hours use.

still have 7% power remaining. wow! i've done flight before ipad2 lower-res movies , conk out @ 9 hours.

 

from former ipad2 owner of year find hard believe give out before ipad3 lol
