NVIDIA Issues Leading Apple to Pursue Integrated Intel Graphics for Mid-Range Notebooks?

following reports late last year indicating apple switching nvidia graphics chips in next macbook pro update, semiaccurate reports nvidia's issues gpu production apparently leading apple rely more heavily on intel's integrated graphics.

apple has reportedly been ordering beefed-up integrated graphics intel on ivy bridge platform, development report claims pointless if chipsets paired discrete graphics chips nvidia.
with nvidia struggling produce lower-end kepler graphics chips, report suggests latter option more , expects apple may bumping integrated-only graphics mid-range of notebook lines. integrated-only graphics have typically been reserved apple's 13-inch macbook pro form factor, lacks space necessary house dedicated graphics chip.
one other factor may @ play rumors of significant redesign of macbook pro yield form factor more in line of popular macbook air. slimming down of chassis may see apple seeking reduce size , power consumption in areas, requirements may result in company bringing lower-powered cpu , graphics options mid-range machines might have otherwise been seen.
