newbie on mac, need some help.

im on windows mac totally new me. have questions if can me..

mac book pro 1,1 c2d 1.8 wid 1gb of ram

1. mac os version can install on it?
2. dont have backup cd or dvd n want clean install. how can?
3. how can install windows on it?
4. have dell n5110 ci3,2nd generation. 3gb ram, 1 ?

1. mac os x 10.7 lion current maximum os, can start mac os x 10.6 snow leopard, can 29 usd apple online store.
can perform clean install that.

to create clean install (formerly known erase & install) of mac os x 10.6 snow leopard (the 29 usd upgrade dvd working retail version of mac os x , not need prior installation of mac os x on mac), follow 1 of following guides:

• short version: clean install of os x 10.6 snow leopard
• long version: mac os x v10.6 snow leopard: how erase , install

mean, if dell better mbp? if so, specwise dell faster, since has windows, not judge, don't use windows main os anymore , never will.
