No iMac on ATV2

had inside different thread thought i'd bring surface...

whether or not hardwire atv2 not problem done me when upgrading alarm system use total connect (tc). had streaming delays figured "why not"...

however, since wiring can no longer "see" imac atv2. when still wireless (first month or so) had no problems , view mac comfort of couch; no longer... funny thing screen saver (picture iphoto) still works.

can tell me why changed? apple impressed me it's ability self-configure; why not now? i've tried going setup/setting , adding "address" (not sure term) no deal...

can me out?

does still work wirelessly when disconnect ethernet cable? if answer yes it's issue router. when connecting them same network vis ethernet there should no issues @ all.
