imported library not displaying images

anything happen anyone? exported project mbp library import on imac. when import don't option of merging existing library , i'm not asked library want import into. when it's done importing, see new project, it's empty, 0 images... can switch library won't merge existing library... happen else? how correct this..? under preferences... ? appreciated......

 

are talking iphoto? , if so, versions? , mac os x versions run on both macs?
