How to format partition to FAT32??

hi guys.

have macbook pro , bought wd passport studio.

first of, have found out wd might have problems being found on windows. said issue can solved trying shorter usb cable. this, haven't tried because apparently don't own such thing. :/

trying, , wanna ask you, whether or not possible format half fat32. have 2 partitions - both mac journal.
have tried plugins , use disk utility format fat32, here possible format whole thing , not 1 of partitions.
tried format 1 of partitions ntfs-3g, due first issue above, can't format in windows, since cannot see it.

- , please don't suggest other formats or discuss best, because of need.

 

i know, told not suggest anything, have considered exfat yet?
assume, fat32 , ntfs can't used on external hdd, uses guid partition map scheme.
