- a plain white sheet of paper out of printer
- an iphone, ipad, ipod touch or macbook
instructions:
put piece of paper on table , gadget of choice next it. go apple.com or other page large clutter-free white background. turn brightness of gadget down closely matches sheet of paper during regular day light conditions (so not bright @ all, around 40-50%).
compare two, looks whiter? prefer reading from?
chances ipad (3rd gen.) units, many describe "warm" or "yellow", match whitepoint of white piece of paper quite accurately.
if have older iphone or ipad, features bright blue screen, might look, , surprising lots of folks, quite unnatural in comparison regular paper when performing simple test.
question is, want ipad resemble & feel of actual, old-fashioned paper (which have been using life), or want screen glowing in blue hue?
