Did the Apple MessagePad come with a charger?

hey!
managed bag messagepad last year 15 quid. yeah, stupid bargin. no charger though. have found site has them 35 pounds. says works messagepads. have specific model work or....?

also, did come charger? or did have use batteries?

 

they take 4 batteries can ordinary disposable ones or rechargeable ones (apple made battery pack 4 rechargeables joined fits in there of these dead now) - have tried yours normal batteries?

there wall adapter if don't want run off batteries, i'd use genuine newton 1 otherwise might risk damaging newton - mine says "newton power adapter" on , model number h2200, have used messagepad 110 , 120, try looking if need one.
