i have 1 gen itouch. ebay purchase. digitizer replaced , glass sitting in frame. can pull out , find home button's button sitting there no clicking action @ all. button sitting in notched out spot. below button disc glued button, , sits on top of board 2 copper rings on it.
million dollar question: there suppose between button , board? makes click? have looked hours online schematic or photo showing break down of section. no on web did find it, or kind of problem or asking about. versed in power/home button reset. once button working correctly, continue reset step.
