AT&T iPhone on Wifi using cellular data?!

this morning got pinged dreaded at&t "you have exceeded 3gb text." have unlimited plan, use web browsing. decided track data usage rest of day , got interesting results.

when got home put phone on wi-fi, , reset cellular statistics. 5 hours later phone says used: sent = 3.1mb, received = 11.5mb


how using cellular data when i'm on wi-fi?

 

hmm, that's odd. did receive text messages pictures or videos? believe visual voicemail uses cellular data too.
