1080p content on ATV3 to 720p TV...

can apple tv3 connected 720p tv playback downloaded 1080p itunes movie?* i'm hoping atv3 can downscale content 720p not need have both 720p , 1080p copy.

 

i confident able that. won't know sure until tries though.
