iPhoto says 4S is 3.1MP

i'm being dumb thought camera 8mp. understand mega pixels not of issue, wondering...

if come through photostream have been down sized.

doesn't on mac, isn't band width issue. think it's save space on ipad.

full size images think need use camera connection kit. syncing iphoto on mac seems resize pictures save space.
