How do I get this PS2 controller to USB adapter working on my Mac?

it works on friends pc going game controllers or whatever on control panel, mac (we want use bigger display) doesn't seem recognize it.

it's sony-made adapter allows plug ps2 controllers usb ports , use them, , i'm curious if there's driver or i'd need make work.

record, we're trying play mari0.
