Keep 2008 MacBook or trade for 2011 Mac Mini?

i have 2008 2.4 ghz macbook mb403ll/a works fine. have ipad 3 have been using quite bit lately. can trade in 2008 macbook @ best buy gc entirely cover base 2011 mac mini.

should keep pushing old macbook? or trade mini , rely on ipad portable needs? thanks!

 

the ipad great not yet quite laptop replacement (yet) although depends on want on move if send few e-mail, browse web, watch movies , play games need ipad if need office docs , use iwork/office stick mac if can buy doing computing @ home mini fine job (bare in mind need mouse, keyboard , screen use mini) hope helps
