Want to Revert Back to SL or Lion From ML, on MBP w/o Losing Anything from My HDD?

okay have ml on mbp here @ university. have ml it's way buggy , many applications dont work, including scanner.

want go sl or lion. have original disc of sl , purchased lion mac app store. here's situation though, dont want lose on 500gb internal hd. i'm utilizing 300gb's , can't lose considering backup external hd @ home folks; no way of me being able retrieve till july.

wondering whats best solution this.

furthermore, hope have option of choosing either sl or lion , not lose of data; hoping decision matter of like; such spaces & expose sl, or icloud , photo stream lion.

i not going tell you shouldn't running beta os on machine need rely on. ok, did...

said, unfortunately there no way downgrade without formatting hard drive. hope have files backed up..
