Cannot jailbreak iPhone 4

i have verizon iphone 4 5.0.1 , thing won't jailbreak. have tried both versions of dev team redsnow, (windows xp)but can get "waiting reboot". whole thing crashes. next time try it, redsnow crashes , locks phone, have restore itunes.
