hey all, sorry if has been covered million times...

bought jailbroken/ unlocked iphone 3gs off ebay unfortunately sitting @ 4.2.1 baseband 06.15.00.

possible update 5.1 , still have jailbroken/unlocked? if so, method used?

in advance.

[edit: save people time scrolling down , reading entire thread, i'd summarize how able unlock iphone 3gs @ ios 5.1:

* upgrade jailbroken/unlocked 3gs (@ ios 4.2.1/ 6.15.00) stock 5.1 using itunes
* use redsn0w jailbreak, install cydia, reflash baseband; tether reboot
* use cydia install ultrasn0w 5.1 fixer; use cydia install ultrasn0w.]
