iPad 1 Jailbroken, can't get past lock screen after reboot!

help! have first-gen ipad running on ios 5.1, jailbroken (teethered) redsn0w. i've been running apps cydia less week, , ipad has gone kaput.

installed app cydia (not sure one, tweak supposed customize notification center), , after rebooting returned lock screen, unable go father. screen flicker, go black little loading wheel pops on screen. after few secons i'm returned lock screen, still unable unlock..

unfortunatly, can't shut ipad off holding power button , sliding, because black screen loading wheel pops quickly. can reset, doesn't give me chance reboot redsn0w software on pc. if has solution doesn't involve me restoring, i'd love hear (i haven't backed in while , don't want have go through trouble). if nothing else, please let me know how avoid in future!

 

restore ipad, set dfu mode

dont download same jailbreak app again, incompatible or you've messed system files somehow ipad cant work properly, ive had similar, many tweaks happening @ once guess.
