so funny thing, walking through mall today , decide go apple store around. while there stopped , talked 1 of apple employees @ front door , ask him when store opening on friday ipad 3 release. how conversation went.
me "when store opening on friday ipad 3 release?"
apple employee "we opening @ 8am sure lines form earlier"
me "how people line since it's @ mall , mall won't open yet?"
apple employee "the mall open around 4 or 5am allow people come in , line in front of store."
me "that's awesome, wish store had new ipads out on display go ahead , see them."
apple employee "it doesn't matter, they're same thing ipad 2."
me "well thanks, have one"
it, walked out , continued walking around mall. couldn't believe it. jaded new ipad coming out. far tell none of apple employees excited new ipad coming out. in fact, while in store looking @ iphone cases overhearing 1 man in process of buying ipad 2 , apple employee didn't try dissuade him wait new ipad. totally trying talk man buying peripherals ipad 2 , telling him how great have it. man looked elderly , consider unknowledgeable new ipad coming out.
think days away, apple employees "come friday , checkout our new awesome ipad, going amazing!" didn't seem type of atmosphere @ store @ all. 2 cents.
