AirPlay from iPad Logistics

consider following activity:

1. use videos app on ipad access itunes library on local computer via home sharing.
2. start playback.
3. airplay apple tv 3.

assume video has both aac 2 ch , ac3 5.1 audio tracks. assume atv has home sharing access on same computer.

once playback begins:

1. atv output ac3 audio track?
2. video/audio stream go computer->ipad->atv or circumvent ipad , stream directly computer->atv?

i'm not sure 1, know 2 certain: it'll go itunes on computer right apple tv. can turn ipad off once start music, , keep playing. problem since it's being "pushed" pc tv, remote won't work.
