Where to learn C++?

i finished taking programming class , taught vb in it. heard next language learn c++. there de facto site can learn from? or book?

 

i'm fan of deitel & deitel how program series. c++ how program (8e).

c++ not next step after visual basic. did learning classic vb6 or vb.net?. why learning program? there want or into?
