Upgrading from all Mac OSes

i know kind of random question, had thought - ever possible upgrade through mac oses (from system 1 > 2 > etc. > 9 > x10.0 > ... > snow leopard/lion?

realize different oses have different requirements, easy workaround swapping hard drive around in different computers including mac os/x, meeting requirements each os.

if possible @ all, interesting see what, if old mac os elements make sl/lion.

reason ask because it's possible upgrade windows 1.0 way through 7 (i know, i've done before), , while realize windows different platform different hardware requirements, understand may technically permitted, given right hardware , knows how make work. however, wrong, if am, correct me facts!

 

if have mac mac os 7, 8, 9 or mac os x 10.0 10.3/4, can't upgrade them 10.6 or 10.7, can't run on such old macs using ppc chips. 10.6 , 10.7 require cpus intel.

why not @ system requirements of os versions , see yourself?
