in past i've been able queue itunes playlist screening films @ work variety of professional codecs: prores, xdcam, dvcpro. have new lion machine proper codecs installed itunes won't import them library. know if itunes in lion environment dropped professional codec playback support?
those pro editing codecs not not meant average consumer watching media. tremendous file sizes not feature consumers not willing put with.
not surprised if don't support in itunes there more important aspects them worry about.
