Apple Engineering dept called me...

this stemmed fact took white verizon 64gb ipad3 local apple store exchange based on yellow screen issue..

ended having exchange ipad 3 times while in store in order find unit.. , it's still not perfect.. 3 additional ipads opened had better screen (no yellow) 3 had @ least 1 dead pixel or more.

ended taking final 3rd 1 home, has great screen other single dead pixel, no backlight bleed, no yellow blotches against black, etc...

think might have dud battery in unit though.

anyways, apple "engineering" department called me wanting ask issues , document , pass along assume corporate. "engineer" agreed sentiments , said doesn't blame me wanting perfect ipad , dead pixels indeed downer..

continued if still wasn't happy take unit , exchange again. told him ipad losing on 10% battery life on 6 hours sitting idle on desk , seemed think that's definately not right said give few more days , see if gets better (i.e. calibrates) , if not, exchange it.

pretty cool hear apple reaching out concern..

else phone call this?

 

why don't include fricken screen temp calibrator in ios!
