alright, want know if got right.
in past when introduced iphones in june (not last year), right introduced new ios when introduced ipad (or other event used)?
if so, i'll willing bet if announce ios during ipad announcement can bet it's june. otherwise last year wasn't fluke , want move usual time october (this bet without evidence have admit i'm hoping i'm wrong cause contract ran out 2 days ago , i'm not patient waiting new tech when i'm ready to).
there's no pattern judge because there's been 2 ipad cycles , ios releases didn't sync int same way. ios 4.2 came out original ipad, , similar dot-release came out ipad 2, but there preview of ios5 , subsequent developer beta 2.
official releases of major new versions of ios have come out (or within days of) new iphone models. ipad releases come minor .x releases.
no, last year ios5 discussed ipad 2 event on preliminary basis, , didn't ios5 till october, week before 4s.
think clues when next iphone come out though, if talk ios 6 , when might released. if talk summer or q2, it's june. if q3/q4, we're looking @ october.
of course there's whole other wildcard: mountain lion , os x, going on yearly rapid-release cycle starting year. see if apple has staff , dev resources pull off, without delaying ios.
