hey everyone,
thought i'd repost here:
has tried using logic touch screens running touch-base create full-featured/low cost daw control surface?
if touch-base driver/st2220t combo works, 1 buy 2 of them , use them touch screen mixer in logic. $220 price tag software , $300/ea monitors, solution far superior daw control surface (euphonix, mackie, behringer, etc.):
- no stepper motor sounds inherent motorized faders
- access every mixer parameter directly--no assigning "v-pots" or faders
- no wear , tear on faders , pots
- way, way cheaper.
see having 2 conventional monitors @ eye level plug-ins , timeline window, etc., , 2 touch screens on desk @ low angle 48+ channel touch screen mixer. compare in price mackie mcu ($999) + 5 extenders ($699/ea = $4500 total). more features, , silent operation.
think?
