Returned to iPhone, and the keyboard is still terrible in iOS 5

i cannot stress how poor ios keyboard on iphone. switched 4s , there many things phone like, typing remains sore spot. it's deal breaker.

it's not misses keys (which constantly--now know funny iphone typo/autocorrection websites come from), other little things, how doesn't recognize , separate words when bottom-row letter pressed instead of spacebar ('likebthis' become 'like this' ics keyboard) or how if iphone thinks you've made typo, you're typing either slang or something, on ics can hit backspace once , it'll "un-autocorrect" wrote. ios keyboard, it's hit or miss trying tap x button cancel autocorrection. these 2 examples. there many other little things ics keyboard more intuitively, ios keyboard not.

shortcuts mitigate problem, it's roundabout way. keyboard should able keep up. have type slower in order avoid typos. don't know if it's screen size or (because noticed ios keyboard infinitely better on ipad in either keyboard-mode or split-key mode), keyboard desperately needs updated or revamped in ios 6.

, know can't 1 who's experiencing this. because think speaks bigger issue, , is, iphone users tend deny phone has faults, , go far claim perfect, or "it works." i've said before: has genuinely used both platforms (android, , ics, , ios. sorry windows) admit both have share of problems. called intellectual honesty, , when people taut perfect when it's not, disservice product. if no 1 ever admits this, there no reason apple make improvements. maybe why keyboard has barely been upgraded.
