Powerbook 12" Fans rapidly ramping up/down
hey all, i've gone powerpc market after long hiatus (macbook pro died , needed machine tie me on until can afford one) , bought 12" powerbook g4/1.5ghz. machine flawless, can't watch films or graphically intensive without fans revving full blast. temperatures climb sixties fans @ full blast.
when i'm browsing graphically intense sites, ramps , down rapidly, no gradual increase or decrease. reminds me of old g5 , how on occasion ramp fans high , low. sorry if it's obvious question i've never had when owned previous powerbook, fans gently rev still rather quiet.
i'm on os x leopard, 1.25gb ram , 320gb hdd.
many help,
look, they're not new machines. you've came owning macbook pro. going sound loud compare that.
12" fans spin when cpu hits 52 degrees c.
think have learn live them.
take peep inside , clean fans of dust if wanted to. or use g4fancontrol control fans haven't & not bother because think it's dangerous , makes machine prone overheating if manually mess around & control fans.
hope helps.
