Macbook Pro 15" vs Macbook Air 13"

i have bit of odd situation...

had macbook pro (specs in sig), , fantastic dell laptop use main computer, , (as may or may not know) i've become rather anti-apple recently.

unfortunately, due bad circumstances, lost mbp (and data on it, may or may not have backup ) , it's being replaced brand new, 15" macbook pro. it's low end model high-res, matte screen. it'll worthy replacement old mbp... don't see reason it.

have dell dual-core i5, 1gb 6670m graphics card, , use "productivity" (aka facebook) , gaming. 15" macbook pro wouldn't better either of these tasks, , if anything, pixels make gaming worse (nevermind lower gpu ram).

i'm considering swapping mbp mba, apple tv (ready ml!), , pocketing rest, can't feeling i'd giving best of best, mediocre @ best, , 2 months obsolite @ worst.

or pocket $2000 when new air's come out, i'm afraid i'd giving great mbp, or spend money on eating out before june.

advice great.

 

since have dell laptop, keep cash , wait until next round of laptop updates. you'll swayed 1 way or other when updates here. don't spend cash eating out before then.
