MacBook Air seems kinda laggy


hey, bought 2011 macbook air th 1.7ghz i5 , seems kinda laggy, animation when switching 1 space seems laggy , not fluid. had high end mbp 15 before , fluid , fast. , know not performance related problem mba tested out @ apple store fluid mbp.
