i have 2011 mac mini connected panasonic hdtv via single hdmi cable. nothing else connected hdtv. when go audio midi application, shows 2 panasonic hdmi outputs. until few days ago, correctly listed 1 hdmi output.
when use eyetv or plex, can toggle between 2 hdmi outputs , 1 of them puts out audio. other not. how can delete hdmi output doesn't work?
easy. on lion mac system go folder /yourharddrive/library/preferences/audio , delete first listed plist. restart rebuild file. reset sound device listing.
